The Lewisburg Lions Club's annual Octoberfest and Pancake Breakfast is this Saturday on the Courthouse Square.
Lions and their cooks arrive at the square at 6 a.m. for the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Club members have been specializing in batter mixing, pancake flipping, sausage cooking, and showing everyone a good time for 19 years.
Entertainment starts at 8 a.m. on a stage in front of the Marshall County Community Theatre by Boys Down the Road, followed by the Cornersville First Baptist Church Praise Team at 8:45; Ricky Weaver and Rick Dracup, 9:30; Tracey Lyikley, 10; Alliance, 10:30; Nora Mills, 11; Zumba, 11:45; Marshall County High School Band, noon; and Bottom Dollar Band, 1 p.m.
Lions suggest visitors bring lawn chairs and enjoy the food, entertainment and shopping on the square.
Octoberfest supports the Lions sight conservation. The club has supported local charities in Marshall County since 1937.
