Arrested on 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force warrants:

* Berry Brandon Darnell, 29, Pulaski. Bond: $22,500; court date: Nov. 9. Charges: conspiracy to distribute a Schedule II drug and Possession of a Schedule II drug for resale. The drug was powder cocaine.

Turned himself in on a violation of probation warrant:

* Lamonn Harris, 36, Sanders Street. Bond: $15,000; court date: Oct. 27.

Arrested and charged with aggravated assault:

* Kenneth W. Kelley, 46, Bryant Street. Bond: $7,500; court date: Nov. 2.

Arrested and charged with vandalism:

* Jennifer L. Young, 18, Hull Avenue. Bond: $6,000; court date: Dec. 6.

Thefts and vandalism reported:

* On Oct. 8, someone used a key to enter a residence on Wildberry Lane, Chapel Hill, where they cut a water line, causing flooding in the kitchen and living room, as well as extensive damage to the basement. Total damages are estimated at over $10,000.

* Two bicycles - a 26-inch green Featherlite worth $175 and a 24-inch green Schwinn with white dots on it, valued at $80 - were stolen from a business on Verona Avenue between 3 p.m. Oct. 2 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 4. The front tires of the bikes were chained to a post, and they were left behind.

* Between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. Oct. 8, someone took a jar of dimes, containing $108, and a jar of paper money, totaling $103, from a home on Sugartree Drive. There were no signs of forced entry.

* Between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 9 p.m. Oct. 8, a .38 special snubnose handgun was stolen from a drawer in the bedroom of a house on Maple Street. Owner values the gun at $200.

* A woman left her purse in a motorized cart at Wal-Mart and when she went back to look for it, the purse was gone. The victim valued the purse at $30, and said a $50 cell phone and $45 cash were in it, as well as her driver's license, bankcard and food stamp card.

* A three- to four-month-old gray pit bull puppy with gray eyes and valued at $100 was stolen from a couple who live on Silver Creek Road.

* Two window screens of a home on Cummings Circle were cut, but the homeowner told police no one had entered the residence. Replacement cost is estimated at $80.

* A woman lost her purse while shopping at Wal-Mart on Oct. 7. The purse was later found in the women's restroom, but $70 was missing from it.

* On Oct. 9, a woman pumped $22.83-worth of gas at the Murphy Oil USA and left without paying. A gas station employee described the woman and the car (a light blue Oldsmobile Alero) to police, and said she had also stolen gas on July 1 and Oct. 8.

* A Lewisburg man's name and social security number were used by someone in Brooklyn, N.Y. to get a DirecTV account. The man found this out when he tried to get a DirecTV account himself.
