Jerry Wayne Luttrell Sr., 62, of 1744 South Berlin Road, Lewisburg, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Mr. Luttrell was a native of Maury County, and the son of the late Charles Edward Luttrell Sr. and Ruth Davis Luttrell. He was a retired truck driver with Tops Transportation and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church on Verona-Caney Road in Lewisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ruth Wiley; one brother, David Stanton Luttrell; and one granddaughter, Megan Lynsea White.
His wife Darlene Henson Luttrell of Lewisburg survives him, along with two daughters, Angela Renee White of Chapel Hill and Teresa Lynn Scales of Lewisburg, and two sons, Jerry Wayne Luttrell Jr. of Lewisburg and Christopher William Luttrell of Cornersville. Also surviving are four grandsons, Dustin Luttrell, Peyton White, Landon Luttrell, and Colin Luttrell, and five granddaughters, Ashley Scales, Cheyenne White, Hollie Luttrell, Brianna Scales and Cassidy Scales.
He is also survivied by two brothers, Charles E. (Sharon) Luttrell and John H. (Charlene) Luttrell, both of Lewisburg; seven sisters, Dorothy (Alton) Keith of Columbia, Barbara (Milton) Hicks of LaVergne, Reenie Johnson of Thompson's Station, Brenda (Gene) Farrar, Linda (Harold) Gilliam, and Elaine Culbertson, all of Cornersville, and Debbie (Danny) Jones of Lynnville; and one sister-in-law, Brenda Luttrell of Summertown.
Funeral services for Mr. Luttrell were conducted Monday, Oct. 18, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Arthur Payne and Dale Myers officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
