Obituary: Mary Evelyn Anderson Ring

Mary Evelyn Anderson Ring, 76, of 1829 Phillips Street, Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Marshall Medical Center.

Mrs. Ring was a native of Maury County and the daughter of the late Luther Anderson and Clara E. Matthews Anderson. She was retired from Moon Pencil Company and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ring was preceded in death by her husband Ralph "Rooster" Ring, who died in 1995; one brother, Benton "Cotton" Anderson; and a nephew, Kenneth Ambrose.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie C. (Melissa) Ring of Lewisburg and Dennis E. (Shelia) Ring of Christiana; one brother, Thomas (Dot) Anderson of Columbia; one sister, Edna (Bill) Ambrose of Culleoka; and a sister-in-law, Ella Anderson of Columbia. Also surviving are three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ring will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Park Cemetery.
