A 4-H ATV safety course will be offered on Saturday, Nov. 20. The fast-paced, half-day, hands-on training session includes pre-ride inspection, starting and stopping, quick turns, hill riding, emergency stopping and swerving, and riding over obstacles. Proper riding gear must be worn at all times. The course will be taught by Trent Jones, Marshall County Extension Agent, and other certified ATV Safety Institute (ASI) instructors.
