Junior Auxiliary of Lewisburg is now conducting its annual "Keep Our Kids Warm Coat Drive" and a suitcase drive for foster children. With the cooperation of White Lowe and Eastside Dry Cleaners, JAL collects unwanted coats, jackets, and gloves, which are cleaned and redistributed to children in need. The coat drive will run through Dec. 3. Check your closets and drop coats off at either dry cleaner, send them with your children to any county school, or give to a JAL member. All sizes are welcome. Girls and boys coats, sizes 6-12, are especially needed. If your child is in need of a winter coat, contact any school guidance counselor. The coats will be given out from 8 until 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the George Turner Center, Silver Street, Lewisburg.
