Colleen Baldwin Garrett, 80, of Madison, Ala., formerly of Marshall County, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, in Huntsville, Ala.
Mrs. Garrett was born in Hamilton County, and was a daughter of the late Hoke Smith and Sylvesta Stinson Baldwin. She was a homemaker and was a member of Christ Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Huntsville.
Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William Pate Garrett, who died in October 2010.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her daughter, Martha Garrett (Jerry) Fisher and grandchildren, Billy Fisher and Cindy Fisher, all of Madison, Ala.; sisters, Gloria Lowery of Chattanooga, Carolyn (Wayne) Reeves of Harrison, Tenn., and Billie (Jerry) Moore of Ringgold, Ga.; two brothers, Howard "Bud" (Peggy) Baldwin of Ooltewah and John (Debbie) Baldwin of Ringgold, Ga.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Dec. 12, from the chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home East with Rev. Richard Hughes and Rev. Dr. Pam Phillips-Burk officiating. Graveside services were conducted Monday, Dec. 13, at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
