Obituary: Philip Ray Garrett

Philip Ray Garrett, 51, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at his home.

Mr. Garrett was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late James Lester and Melba Grace McKinney Garrett. He was a former employee of Dole Refrigeration.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Garrett.

He is survived by two sons, James (Kada) Garrett of Lewisburg and Lucus Garrett of Fayetteville; two brothers, Roy Garrett and Joe Garrett, both of Lewisburg; and three sisters, Darlene Hill, Kathy Garrett and Linda Clift, all of Lewisburg.

Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 9, at London Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, in Head Springs Cemetery.
