Billy Lewis Hargrove, 64, of Chapel Hill, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011.
A native of Marshall County, Mr. Hargrove was a son of the late Henry Lee Hargrove Sr. who died in 1973 and Louise Ragsdale Hargrove who survives. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and served in the Tennesee Army National Guard. Mr. Hargrove was retired from Textron Aerostructures in Nashville.
In addition to his father, Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Hargrove, who died in 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hargrove of Chapel Hill; two daughters, Melinda Hargrove and Melissa (Lonnie) Perryman, both of Chapel Hill; his mother, Louise Hargrove of Chapel Hill; a brother, Henry Lee Hargrove Jr. of Shelbyville; two grandsons, Caleb Perryman and Billy Forrest Perryman; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Kelley, Rev. Tim McGehee, and Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery.
