Mary Ida Sharp King, 74, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at her residence in Huntsville, Ala.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George Clark Campbell and Ruby Christine Ashby Campbell. She was an avid doll collector, a former employee of the Sanford Corporation, and a member of the Church of Christ faith.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy Sharp; a sister, Bessie Mae Sharp; and a brother, Wilson Clark Campbell.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn King of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Judith Ann Campbell of Lewisburg; and one brother, John Douglas Campbell of Poquoson, Va.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 until 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Mrs. King will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home, Father Bill Kelly officiating, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
