The Frist Center, Nashville, has extended its hours for the last two days of "The Birth of Impressionism." Saturday, Jan. 22, it is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 23, from 1 to 9 p.m.; opening for members only from 9 a.m. to noon.

MTSU's Small Business Development Center, in conjunction with the Small Business Administration, will conduct free seminars on starting your own business from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, and Wednesday, March 9, at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, 3050 Medical Center Pkwy, Murfreesboro. In an effort to extend the outreach of the Tennessee Career Center, the Marshall County Memorial Library and the TN Career Center in Lewisburg have established a "Career Corner" in the library. The Career Corner will be manned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 11:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, to give job seekers instruction on Resume/Cover Letter Writing, Job Search Methods, and other Career Center resources. Chapel Hill United Methodist Churches Team G(race) begins training for the Music City Half Marathon at 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, from the church parking lot. The 13-week training program prepares walkers and runners for the 13.1 mile race on April 30. Everyone is welcome to join Team G(race) for their initial 4-mile course.
