Jack W. Logue, 84, of Chapel Hill, died Thursday morning, Jan. 20, 2011.
Mr. Logue was born in Marshall County and was a son of the late Clarence and Bertha Griffin Logue. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a retired auditor for Heil-Quaker Corp. of Lewisburg where he worked for 22 years. Mr. Logue was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Logue.
Mr. Logue is survived by his wife, Mary Jessie Walker Logue of Chapel Hill; daughter, Judy Logue (James) Daughrity of Chapel Hill; sisters, Grace Pigg of Lewisburg, Louise Liles of Gibsonia, Pa., Dorothy Wilson of Chapel Hill, and Shirley (Gene) Martin of Lewisburg; brothers, Clarence "Red" Logue of Maderia, Calif. and Freddie Logue of Clovis, Calif.; grandchildren, Jeff Daughrity, Lori Ray, and Jessica Coleman; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jonathan Daughrity, Jordan and Logan Ray, and Jayden Coleman.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Chapel Hill Church of Christ with Stan Butt and J.D. Schwartz officiating. Burial followed in Middle View Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
