Nimo Jane Patterson Perryman, 90, of Chapel Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, following an extended illness.
A native of Perry County, Mrs. Perryman was a daughter of the late Jessie and Myra Horner Patterson. She was a former recorder for the Town of Chapel Hill and retired from Forrest School as a secretary with 43 years of service. Mrs. Perryman was a member of Chapel Hill Community Ministry Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, "Ab" Perryman, who died in 2002; a son, Steve Perryman; two brothers, Valton and Vet Patterson; and two sisters, Oneda Holton and Doris Cooper.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Donna Perryman of Chapel Hill; grandsons, Mike (Michelle) Perryman and Tal (Kim) Perryman; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer Perryman, Dustin Perryman, Connor Perryman, and Cameron Perryman; sister-in-law, Elise Farless; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 23, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Agnes Lepley and Rev. Paul Woodford officiating. Burial followed at Swanson Cemetery.
