Marshall County AYSO Soccer sign-ups will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 30 and Feb. 6, in the Lewisburg Recreation Center Main Lobby. Participants must be four years old by March 31, 2011.

In an effort to extend the outreach of the Tennessee Career Center, the Marshall County Memorial Library and the TN Career Center in Lewisburg have established a "Career Corner" in the library. The Career Corner will be manned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 11:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, to give job seekers instruction on Resume/Cover Letter Writing, Job Search Methods, and other Career Center resources. Chapel Hill United Methodist Churches Team G(race) begins training for the Music City Half Marathon at 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, from the church parking lot. The 13-week training program prepares walkers and runners for the 13.1 mile race on April 30. Everyone is welcome to join Team G(race) for their initial 4-mile course.
