Obituary: Ronald Shelton

Ronald Shelton, 58, of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Shelton was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Lonell and Bessie Ellis Shelton. He was a machine operator for Trison Coatings and was a member of the Petersburg East Side Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, a brother, David Shelton, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Antwan (Brandi) Massey of Shelbyville; granddaughter, Asia C. Massey of Kennesaw, Ga.; brothers, Dwight Shelton of Fayetteville, Clyde Shelton of Petersburg, and Tommy (La'Tonya) Shelton of Louisville, Ky.; sisters, Betty Shelton of Petersburg and Shirley Davis of Albany, N.Y.; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home, Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Holman officiating, followed by burial in Pleasant View Cemetery.
