Obituary: Rena Belle Coble Pruitt

Rena Belle Coble Pruitt, 99, of Nashville, formerly of Cornersville, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Pruitt was a Marshall County native and daughter of the late Henry Harrison and Myrtle Louise Rone Coble. She was a homemaker and member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. L. Pruitt, brother, C.S. Coble, and sister, May Coble.

She is survived by her son, Alfred (Janice) Pruitt of Floresville, Texas; daughter, Peggy (Bill) Wise of Nashville; three grandchildren, Bobby (Jodi) Pruitt of Ardmore, Ala., Pam Pruitt of Huntsville, and their mother, Joyce Pruitt of Huntsville, and Amy Wise of Columbia; and a friend and guardian, Joe Pigg of Cornersville.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 6, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
