Obituary: Stanley Wayne Moore

Stanley Wayne Moore, 60, of Lewisburg, formerly of Austin, and Graham, Texas, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Stanley was a pawnbroker and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Frank and Katherine Bromley Moore; son, J.W. "Dubs" Moore; and stepson, Calvin Harris.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley Fay Moore of Lewisburg; daughters, Tammy (Troy) Blackwood of Columbia and Tanya (Steve) Bartlett of Nolensville; grandchildren, Briley and Brooke Blackwood, Kaila Burboa, and Jordon and Hannah Bartlett; and brother, Michael (Stacia) Moore of Franklin.

Memorial services with military honors will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Christ Church of Columbia, 707 Lion Pkwy, Columbia, with Pastor Ward Jones officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
