An 18-year-old woman was held at knifepoint last weekend while delivering pizza in Lewisburg.

A masked man came around the side of a Woodlawn Avenue home and held a knife to the teen's neck, according to Lewisburg Police Officer Jennifer McDonald's report.

People with information that could help police solve the crime are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 359-4867 or the Lewisburg Police Department detectives at 359-3800.

The crime was at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, McDonald's reported.

The young woman was trying to deliver a Domino's pizza, but when confronted she surrendered $25 cash she'd been paid for pizzas, the police report states.

The masked man then walked her to the delivery car and forced her to give him her iPhone, valued at $330, McDonald said, adding that officers were unsuccessful when using the phone's GPS tracking software to locate it.

The woman described her attacker as a tall thin black man with a large Adam's apple and small eyes, McDonald reported.

The call ordering the pizza was made by a woman from a pay phone, McDonald said. Because of that, Domino's requested a callback number and the caller gave a number later revealed to be WAXO's number. The caller reportedly gave the name "Edward Jones," the name of an investment counselor.
