The Free Solar PV training scheduled for March 21--26 in Spring Hill has been postponed. An announcement will be sent out when the new course dates are announced.

The Marshall County Memorial Library, the South Central Human Resource Agency, and the Internal Revenue Service offer free tax preparation for individuals whose yearly income is under $49,000. The Marshall County Retired Teachers Association is offering $1,000 scholarships to students graduating from high school and planning a teaching career. They are also offering $1,000 scholarships to college juniors and seniors who commit to entering the teaching profession. Applications are available at the high school guidance offices; deadline is April 15.

Gently used children's clothing, toys and accessories will be available from the Angel's Closet at Heaven Sent Children Inc., 307 N. Walnut St, Murfreesboro, twice a month.
