Jason Carlson, 19, of Thompson's Station was arrested on a warrant for theft over $500. Carlson was accused last month of stealing 210 seven-foot metal fence posts, valued at $1,470. Bond: $6,000; court date: March 29.

The account office door at Lifesong Family Church, Lewisburg, was kicked open and the safe was taken, probably on Feb. 11. "This incident is still under investigation," wrote Lewisburg Police Detective Santiago Mcklean in his report. The cost of repairing the damage, and the value of whatever was taken is not reported.

Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man is alleged to have cashed at least two checks in Lewisburg, written on a non-existent account of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Columbia.

* Michael F. Albensi, 48, McClure Street. Held without bond. Albensi is wanted in Kentucky for "flagrant non support," according to the report by LPD Officer Larry Hazelwood.

* Bill T. Bartlett, 68, Verona Caney Road. Held without bond for court on April 5. According to the report by Marshall County Sheriff's Department Deputy Cecil Thrasher, when asked if he had been drinking, Bartlett replied, "You know I drink all day."

* Andrew Stephen Ogden, 18, Belfast. Bond: $2,000; court date: April 10. The 15-year-old female with Ogden admitted she had also been drinking, and will appear in Juvenile Court.

Cited for violation of the city ordinance that prohibits beer to be on the tables more than 30 minutes after it becomes unlawful to sell

* Willie Bee Conger, 72, Verona Avenue. LPD Officer Tracy Teal and Cpl. Chris Sawyers were in the Soul Train on March 6, looking for the owner of an improperly parked vehicle, when, at about 12:35 p.m., they observed a patron bring a pitcher of what appeared to be beer to a table and fill several people's cups with the liquid.
