Obituary: Lyndal Fagan
Lyndal Fagan, 87, of Gallatin, formerly of Lewisburg, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011.
Mr. Fagan was born November 18, 1923, in Lewisburg, son of the late Robert Henry and Alice Stewart Fagan. Lyndal was a retired funeral director and embalmer for over 50 years and was a veteran, serving in U.S. Army during World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Nell Young Fagan, and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Fagan (Donna) of Columbia and Mark Fagan (Rhoda) of Gallatin; one grandchild, Julia Thornhill; and two great-grandchildren, Daemon and Isaac Thornhill.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Thursday, March 24, from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Yarborough officiating.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at London Funeral Home in Lewisburg at 1 p.m. Monday, March 28, with Brother Wert Campbell officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Homebound Ministry or Perry McArthur Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, 205 East Main St., Gallatin, TN 37066.
