Obituary: Victor Ray Pigg
We regret to inform you that Victor Ray Pigg, 55, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at his home.
He was the son of Margaret Wilson of Washington, D.C. and Robert A. Pigg of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mr. Pigg was baptized at an early age and became a member of the Church of Christ in Lynnville. He was a factory worker. In his leisure time, he enjoyed tending to his horses and other farm animals.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Pigg, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Pigg.
He is survived by his wife, Tandy Pigg; two daughters, Canesha Conger of Lewisburg and Tanith Wilson of Statesboro, Ga.; three sons, Victor Lynn Pigg and Robert J. Pigg of Lewisburg, and Thomas E. Harris of Cadiz, Ky.; several grandchildren; his parents; three sisters, Lynn Brown of Lewisburg, Regina Dean of Madison, Tenn., and Jackie Pigg of Centerville; two brothers, Sidney Pigg of Antioch and Barry Pigg of Lewisburg; several aunts and uncles; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 29, at Second Avenue Church of Christ with Bro. Roy Holman officiating, followed by burial in Beechwood Cemetery.
J. B. Mayberry and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
