Mary Frances Simmons, 78, of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Willie R. Jett and Beulah Mae Keel Jett.
Her husband, Alvis Billy Simmons, who died in March 2008; a daughter, Patsy Simmons; and one sister and eight brothers also predeceased her.
She retired from Cosmolab and Wal-Mart and was a member of Westvue Church of Christ and the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Pam Chunn (Andy) of Pulaski; two sons, Mike Simmons (Velvet) and Terry Simmons, both of Lewisburg. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Simmons will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rick Rolin officiating. Burial will take place in Berea Cemetery at Verona.
