Janet Kay Moses, 71, of Cornersville, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in NHC Oakwood.
Mrs. Moses was a native of Ziller, Neb. and daughter of the late Hubert and Alma Lucille Dewey Filley. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the Cornersville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Moses of Cornersville; son, Dale Frederich of Pompano Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Debra Pelch of Pasadena, Calif., Julie Mendosa of Goleta, Calif., and Jill Pratt of Detroit, Mich.; three stepsons, Carl Moses of Richmond, Va., William Moses of Lorton, Va., and Shane Moses of Virginia Beach, Va.; two stepdaughters, Terri Mancini of Woodbridge, Va. and Kristine Moses of Deland, Fla.; cousin, Gary Wells of Sun City, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moses' body will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 1, from the Cornersville United Methodist Church.
