Barbara Lynn Sloan Darling, 55, of Lewisburg, died Friday, April 15, 2011, in NHC-Oakwood, Lewisburg.
The Jackson, Tenn. native was the daughter of the late James David Sloan and Loretta Banks Sloan McKee. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Glen Darling, in 1994 and a son, Jimmy Earl Darling, in 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Gidget (James) Darnell of Lewisburg and Tammy Lynn Darling of Bell Glade, Fla.; a sister: Teresa Moore of Milan, Tenn.; her friend, companion, and caregiver, Terry Sparks of Lewisburg; 11 grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Darling, Eric Darling, Heather Renee Rogers, Brittany Darling, Tyler Odom, Cody Earl Darling, Black Darling, Caleb Boyer, Richard Boyer, Madison Boyer, and CJ Darnell; and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Cali Bonino.
