Frankie D. Reed, 77, of Fayetteville, died Monday, April 18, 2011, in Fayetteville Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Reed was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Clarence and Carmen Bradford Reed. He was a member of the Tennessee National Guard, owner and operator of Reed Furniture and a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Reed was preceded in death by a son, John David Reed.
Survivors include two daughters, Roxanne Moyers and husband Mike of Fayetteville and Valerie Graham and husband Joe Ed of Lewisburg; two sons, Jeff Reed and wife Lisa of San Antonio, Texas and Scott Reed and wife Nasaria of Houston, Texas; one sister, Dot West of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 21, from noon until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will be beside his wife, Janice Groce Reed, who passed away in March 2010.
