Marshall County veterinarians offer rabies vaccinations at the reduced rate of $8 for the month of April. Tennessee law requires all cats and dogs three months of age and older to be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. There have already been three cases of rabies confirmed in Marshall County this year.
The Marshall County Education Association is offering a $1,000 scholarship for college juniors and seniors who are majoring in education and plan to teach.
