Clyde Edward Ferguson Jr., 60, of Lewisburg went home to his Lord on Monday, April 25, 2011.
Clyde's world was his Lord, family, church and job. A member of East Commerce Baptist Church, Clyde was a faithful choir member and served a term as Trustee Chairman. He retired from International Comfort Products after 16 years' dedication, and was a member of Local Lodge 52 of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Clyde leaves a huge void in the lives of all who knew him.
Clyde was preceded in death by three sisters, Gaynelle Simmons, Ann Richardson and Shirley Hadley.
He leaves behind his mother, Martha Williams White of Memphis; his in-laws whom he considered his parents, Eldred and Monette Allen of Lewisburg; his wife, Sherry Allen Ferguson of Lewisburg; son, David Ferguson and wife Charlene of Shelbyville; daughter Monica Addington and husband Scott of Nashville; two grandchildren, Katherine Osborne and Will Ferguson; two whom he considered grandchildren, Meghin and Sydney Scott; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Levi Osborne; sister-in-law, Faye Harrison; two nephews; four nieces; six great-nephews; three great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and one great-great-niece.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 28, at East Commerce Baptist Church, with pastor James Hickey officiating.
