The Chapel Hill Youth Football League will be holding registration for football players and cheerleaders in all divisions Sunday, May 22, 1-4 p.m. at the Forrest High School Old Gym. Fees are due at time of Registration. No late registrations will be accepted.

Sign-ups for Marshall County Senior League Softball (age 13-16) will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, and Friday, May 13, and from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the concession stand at the Richard Cashion Complex, Lewisburg. Tryouts will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

Registration is open for a Mini Cheer Camp to be held from June 13 to 16 in the Lewisburg Recreation Center gym. The camp is for four to 10 year olds, and will be directed by MCHS cheerleaders. To sign up, call Becky at 359-1593 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The May CHYFL board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the Chapel Hill Fire Hall. This meeting is open to the public.

The Election Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, in Suite 120 of the Hardison Office Annex, 230 College St, Lewisburg.

A caravan of Marshall County citizens will leave from the parking lot of The Acres Shopping Center, directly behind Lewisburg Jewelry, promptly at 5 p.m. to attend The Tennessee Freedom Coalition's evening of education and enlightenment on current concerns about Islam at the Cornerstone Church, 726 West Old Hickory Blvd, Madison. Forrest Senior night will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 12, in the Forrest auditorium.

The Alzheimer's Association Marshall County Caregiver Support Group will meet at noon Thursday, May 12, at the Senior Citizens Center, 230 College St, Lewisburg. This month the group will have a time of sharing and caring. The group is free and can be beneficial to anyone caring for a loved one suffering with memory impairment and confusion. The La Leche League of Lewisburg will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 12, in the nursery at the First Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg on the Square. All mothers interested in breastfeeding are invited to attend, as are their babies and children. Attending before the birth of the baby can help avoid difficulties later. Help fight cancer, honor Samantha Abbott, and have fun from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Family Life Center, Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 316 North Horton Pkwy (in front of Forrest High School). Forrest Rockets Wrestling Team Boosters is holding a Rocket Roll-In Car Show, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, in the back parking lot of Forrest High School, Chapel Hill. Forrest Baccalaureate will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday May 15. Tickets will be required for seating in the auditorium. There will be open seating in the cafeteria.

MCYFL will be holding a coach's clinic at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at 768 Springplace Road (playing field). All football and cheerleading coaches MUST attend. This is a closed meeting.

The American Legion Auxiliary will hold its regular meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, May 16, at Village Manor, Lewisburg.

There will be a Farm Marketing Workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, at the Lewisburg Gas Department, 505 N. Ellington Pkwy.
