Obituary: Betty D. Greer

Betty D. Greer, 65, died Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Nashville.

She was a native of Marshall County, daughter of the late Joe L. and Kathryn Love Greer and a member of Second Avenue Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Claritta Greer-Kerr.

She is survived by sons, David Greer of Lewisburg, and Timothy, Carl, Wesley and Anthony Greer; daughters, Angela Carter, Christine Kerr, and Anneadria Greer; sisters, Sandra Stanley, Claudia Williams, Shireee Bathers, and Regina, Theresa, Patsy and Paula Greer; brothers, Joe Greer Jr. and Andrew Greer; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, followed by the funeral service at noon at Second Avenue Church of Christ; Brother Roy Holman, eulogist. Burial follows in Beechwood Cemetery.
