Obituary: Lee Roy Harris

Lee Roy Harris, 71, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Marshall Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Alexander and Annie Bell Hobbs Harris, a member of Fountain Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and retired from City of Lewisburg.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Grace Harris; sons, Bobby Harris and Roy Anthony Haislip; daughters, Kaylynn Edmondson, Melissa Harris, Carmelia McClain and Tamekia Harris; brothers, George Moore and Eugene Harris; and sisters, Dorothy Oliver and JoAnn Edwards.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the Family Life Center.

The funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Cook Memorial Cemetery.
