Joyce Baxter Clifton, 75, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at her home.
Mrs. Clifton was a native of Pulaski, and the daughter of the late John and Mary Brewer Baxter. She was a homemaker and member of the Methodist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Clark Clifton; grandson, Steven Brent Clifton; two sisters, Virginia Tidwell and Ruth Tidwell; and a brother, Leland Baxter.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Jeffrey) Davis and Leanne (Paul) Jelonek both of Lewisburg; three sons, Steven C. (Merica) Clifton of Lewisburg, Timothy (Fay) Clifton of Panama City, Fla., and Tracy (Dawn) Clifton of Derby, Kansas; six sisters, Jo (Joe Mac) Mize, Marie Senterfiet, Janie (Mac) Peebles, Barbara Foster, and Jean (Sam) Deblasi, all of Pulaski, and Lavinia B. Welch of Marietta, Fla. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Shiloh Methodist Church cemetery near Dellrose, Tenn.
The family was at London Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday and will be there on Friday until the funeral hour.
