A slow-pitch softball tournament for co-ed teams will be held on Saturday, June 18, at the Wilson Parkway Softball Complex, Fayetteville. Register now for the Chamber of Commerce's 4th of July parade. The theme is "Happy Birthday America" and entry is free. Floats, cars, wagons, horses, mules, donkeys, costumed characters, walkers, motorcycles, pageant winners, and golf carts are all welcome. Businesses, churches, individuals, schools, daycares, non-profits, elected officials and sports teams are invited to participate. Berlin Fire Department will hold its annual Hamburger/Ice Cream Supper from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Berlin Spring. Hamburgers, fries, fixings, ice cream and desserts. A great family night out. All proceeds go to support the Berlin Fire Department.
