An injury filled season derailed the 14U Team Force '96' softball team for most of the 2010 travel ball season, but head coach Mike 'Gumby' Wortham's squad has been working hard during the off season and their effort paid off over the weekend when they captured the 7th Annual USGF Let'em Fly in Fayetteville title. Team Force won their first two pool games before being beaten by the Outrage from Lawrenceburg in the first round of bracket play. The Force came back to beat the Franklin County Blast in the loser's bracket final and then swept two from Outrage to win the title. In 18U action, the Tigerettes from Lewisburg finished second and Team Force from Marshall County took third place in the 10U Division.
