James Franklin Jett, 76, of Belfast, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Marshall Medical Center.
Mr. Jett was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Robert and Mattie Sharp Jett. He was retired from Lewisburg Printing and was a member of LifeSong Family Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow Jett and Robert Jett; two sisters, Elizabeth Hill and Frances Leslie; grandson, Christopher Jett; and stepgreat-grandson, Roston Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Jett of Belfast; four sons, Frankie Jett, Terry Jett, Tim Jett, and Phillip Jett of Lewisburg; two stepsons, Gary Smith of Lewisburg and Donald Smith of Cornersville; stepdaughter, Cheryl Campbell of Cornersville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and one niece, Betty King of Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
