William David Hobby, 43, of Mooresville, died Monday, June 20, 2011, in Panama City, Fla.
Mr. Hobby was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late William Leonard Hobby and Laquita Dugger Hobby of Mooresville. He was a farmer and mail carrier and member of the Mooresville Church of Christ where he served as a deacon.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shannon Hobby of Mooresville; daughter, Emily Hobby, and son, Jonathan Hobby, both of Mooresville; two brothers, Mark (Cassie) Hobby and Gary (Dixie) Hobby, both of Mooresville; a sister-in-law, Melissa (Kenny) Nicholson of White Bluff; five nephews; five nieces; and one great-niece.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bryant Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Saturday until the funeral hour for visitation.
London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
