Obituary: Billie Joplin Brown Crabtree

Billie Joplin Brown Crabtree, 80, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Fayetteville Care & Rehab Center.

Mrs. Crabtree was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late James Clarence and Mazie Lee Greer Brown. She was a nurse and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, James Crabtree of Petersburg; daughters, Marcia and Jerry Marion of Estill Springs and Kathy and Roy Wiser of Lewisburg; son, James Douglas and Linda Manire Crabtree of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, in the Petersburg Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Tedder and Doug Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery.

Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
