Tommy Henegar, 81, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Williamson Medical Center.
Born in McMinnville, he was the son of the late D. Porter and Pearlee Elliot Henegar. He attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. He was a retired executive vice president of the Southern Nursery Association, and was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Trigg Henegar of Franklin; aunt, Edith Davies of McMinnville; and nephews, Leonard Cathey of Franklin and Trigg Cathey of Lewisburg.
Graveside services for Mr. Henegar will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Lone Oak Cemetery, with Reverend Leland Carden officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be past presidents of the Southern Nursery Association.
