Larry Thomas Richards, 58, of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at his residence.
A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Lillian Blackwell Richards and Thomas "Rooster" Richards. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the Church of God.
Mr. Richards' parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela Richards of Pulaski and Dana Bowden of
Chapel Hill; two sisters Kathy Richards and Nancy LaLonde, both of Lewisburg; and one brother, Randy Richards of Lewisburg. Four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Sherry King, also survive.
Graveside services for Mr. Richards will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Whorley Cemetery with Rick Stephens officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home.
