Obituary: Kenneth Wayne Crutcher

Kenneth Wayne Crutcher, 61, died Tuesday Aug. 23, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Annie Mayes Crutcher; brothers, David N. and Grady R. Crutcher; uncles, Thad and Simon Mayes; and grandmother, Nannie Mayes.

He is survived by sons, Bryan Lanier and Blake (Beth Scott) Crutcher; former wife Connie Lamb Crutcher; brothers, Lynn Crutcher and Paul (Marilyn) Crutcher; sisters, Dorothy (Robert) Hall, Patricia (Jimmy) Skinner, Thelma (Earl) Pitts, Betty Hendricks, and Mary (Michael) Gentry; two grandchildren; and one stepgrandson.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Lewisburg Family Life Center

Visitation continues from 11 a.m. until the funeral at noon at Mt. Carmel M. B. Church, Chapel Hill, with Rev. Earl Pitts officiating. Burial will follow at Egypt.
