Wayne Allen Deuermeyer, 56, of Estill Springs, passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A native of Chaumont, France, he was the son of the late Alvin and Bernice Bennett Deuermeyer. Mr. Deuermeyer was a maintenance worker with Walker Die Casting in Lewisburg. He was an Army National Guard Veteran and was a member of the Estill Springs and Lewisburg VFW and a former member of the American Legion.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie W. Deuermeyer.
He is survived by a son, Michael W. (Gina) Deuermeyer of Estill Springs; a daughter,
Wendy Deuermeyer of Estill Springs; ex-wife, Connie Louise Deuermeyer of
Lewisburg; two brothers, Larry A. Deuermeyer of Clermont, Fla. and Kevin L. Deuermeyer of Tullahoma; a sister, Connie A Wilson of Lyles, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Jacob M. Deuermeyer and Emily J. Deuermeyer.
Visitation with the Deuermeyer family will be from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Memorial services for Mr. Deuermeyer will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Smith officiating.
