On Monday, Cascade went low with Blake England leading the way with a 37, Lucas Dunnivant was one shot back of his teammate with a 38, Jake Pimental shot 40, Chad Gordon carded a 41, and Mason Brewer shot 43 for the victorious Champs.
On the girls' side, the Lady Rockets eked out a two-stroke win over the Lady Champions 107-109 with Courtney Hollandsworth coming out on top of all the lady duffers with 52, followed in order by Courtney Hobby (57), Mandy Conley (59), Caitlyn Burt (68), and Alyssa Elliot (71).
Only the top two scores were used to determine the winning total.
Dowler got his groove back on Tuesday at Henry Horton, firing a clean 40 to lead the Rockets to their victory over the Cougars.
Daughrity was second with a 41, Tansil carded a 43, Garvin showed some nice improvement with a 47, as did Hoeft with a 48, and Nichols ended up with a 51.
MTCS was led by Ian Harper, who shot 48, Joseph Warner netted a 49, Barron Courley finished his nine holes with a 56, and Ben Brown rounded out the boys' scoring with a 59.
The Lady Rockets won their second match of the week with a 108-120 win versus the Lady Cougars with Hobby and Conley shooting identical 54's.
Burt carded a 64 and Elliot finished with a 67.
Kayla Hickey led MTCS with a 50 and Jordan Gilliam shot 70.
The District 11A/AA Tournament will take place at Henry Horton on September 9.
