Annie Pearl Crunk Bivins, 96, of Cornersville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Nora Wise Crunk and William Willis Crunk. She was manager of Kuhn's Five & Dime for 17 years and was a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Bivins, in 1974; five brothers, Wise, Bill, Paul, Wilburn, and Thomas Crunk; and two sisters, Mildred Pigue and Mary Elizabeth Bivins.
Survivors include one son, James Ricky Bivins of Gulf Shores, Ala.; two granddaughters, Crystal Bivins Lee of Shelby, Ala. and Laura Walker of Calera, Ala.; one grandson, James Thomas Henry Bivins of Bessemer, Ala.; three great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Bivins were conducted Thursday, Sept. 15, at Lone Oak Cemetery with Mark Irvin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
