Page advanced all the way to the Class A/AA State Tournament semifinals last season before losing to the eventual state champions Notre Dame.
In 2009, Page went undefeated in the regular season at 21-0 before being knocked out in the first round of the state tournament.
Forrest and Page played to a 2-2 tie in the 2007 campaign, but since then Page had won four straight games by a combined score of 25-3 and on Monday in Rudderville, the story was the same as Forrest fell 8-1.
The Lady Rockets did not have a shot on goal the entire first half and just one in the second and that came on a penalty kick by Ciara Cook that was converted by the Forrest senior at the 17:36 mark.
Page has outscored its opponents 57-5 this season and Cook's goal stopped a five game shutout run by the Lady Pats.
Kelsey Wilkes led the first place Lady Patriots with four goals versus Forrest Monday night, including a hat trick in the first half.
Micki Dye scored the first Page goal at the 25:06 mark of the game and Rachel Finn scored for the home team at 6:27 to account for the other first half goal as Page led 5-0 at halftime.
Finn scored again in the second half, before Wilkes' fourth goal and Sierra Campbell rounded out the scoring on the night with a Page goal at the 15:15 mark.
Page is undefeated and has locked up first place in District 11A/AA this season.
Community, MTCS, Cascade, Forrest, Huntland, MCHS, Summit, and Cornersville round out the district standings as of press time.
