Mary Burrow Joines

Mary Burrow Joines, 89, of Cornersville, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, in Brandywood Golden Living Center in Gallatin.

Mrs. Joines was a native of Marshall County, daughter of the late Calvin Eugene and Ethel Eady Burrow. She was a graduate of Cornersville High School. She was retired from Spencer's Grocery where she worked for several years as a clerk. She was a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Joines; two brothers, Jay Burrow and William "Bill" Burrow; and daughter, Patsy Rhodes.

She is survived by two daughters, Bettye Lynn Joines of White House and Judy Joines of Nashville; sister, Bettye Ray of Lewisburg; one granddaughter, Cayce Rhodes of Gallatin; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Beechwood Cemetery.
