Juanita Pack, 74, of Petersburg, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, in Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mrs. Pack was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late James Howard and Nina Mai Hastings Sowell. She was a former employee of Petersburg Manufacturing, Cosmolab, and Teledyne, and she retired from National Pen Corporation in 2001. She was a lifelong member of Catalpa Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Meriel Pack of Petersburg; two daughters, Sheila (Terry) Upchurch of Shelbyville and Connie (Jim) Davidson of Dickson; son, Jeff (Terri) Pack of Petersburg; three granddaughters, Kasey (Jeremy) Greene of Mt. Juliet, and Kami and Shawnee Upchurch of Shelbyville; four grandsons, Peyton and Stephen Clark of Dickson and Charlie and Logan Pack of Petersburg; and one great-grandson, Mason Greene of Mt. Juliet.
She is also survived by Janice Harris, cousin and caregiver.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 18, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in the Talley Cemetery at Cane Creek.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
