David Odell Price Sr., 60, of Lewisburg, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, after an extended illness.
A native of Lawrenceburg, he was the son of the late Eva M. Walker Price and Mitchell Odell Price. He was a self-employed carpenter and painter and was a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, three sisters - Nattie Mae Southerland, Linda Faye Rollins and Glenda Kaye Linley - preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Sheila Darnell Price of Lewisburg; one daughter, April Dawn Price of Lewisburg; one son, David (Angela) Price Jr. of Columbia; three brothers, Jerry Price of Pulaski, Daniel Price of Lewisburg and John Price of Limestone County, Ala.; one sister, Kathy (Paul) Luna of Lewisburg; one aunt, Nettie Durham of Columbia; three granddaughters, Hailey Price, Gracie Price and Lillian Price; one grandson, James Hood Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Price were conducted Sunday, Oct. 23, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with James E. Davis Sr. officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Park Cemetery
