Mary Frances "Granny" Williams, 84, of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011.
A native of Marshall County, she was a daughter of the late William Lindsey and Mary Rebecca Andrews Hill. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and baled hay for the public for 26 years. She was a member of Farmington United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Hargrove; two sisters, Marie Hill and Virginia Faulk; two brothers, Charlie Webb Hill and Horace Hill Sr.; two grandsons, Gary Coleman and Randy Collins; two great-grandsons, Jonathan Smith and James Andrew Williams IV.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Andy Williams of Farmington; three daughters, Kay (Don) Gevedon of Farmington, Janice Collins of Lewisburg, and Becky Gipson of Farmington; two sons, Jimmy (Judy) Williams of Belfast and Charlie (Rose) Williams of Farmington; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Leland Carden and Rev. Larry Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow at Berea Cemetery in Marshall County.
