Brenda Jean Dalton, 62, of Smyrna, died Saturday morning, Nov. 5, 2011, in Nashville.
Mrs. Dalton was born in Marshall County and was formerly a member of the environmental staff at McKendree Village in Hermitage. She was a member of Stones River Baptist Church.
Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Hazlett Poarch, and two brothers, James Dalton and Charles Dalton.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Hargrove (Ken) Tibbitts of Smyrna; a son, Tracy Hargrove of Smyrna; her father, Fred Dalton of Lewisburg; brothers, Ronnie Dalton of Lewisburg, Freddie Dalton of Belfast, and Terry Dalton of Lewisburg; sisters, Fredia Barry of Nashville and Charlene Flynt of Lewisburg; grandsons, William Lambert of South Carolina, Nicholas Biggers of Smyrna, and Chance Hargrove of Lewisburg; and granddaughter, Brittney Hargrove of Lewisburg.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Nov. 7, at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, with Ron Kleine officiating.
