James B. "Jim" Richardson, 48, of the Anes Station Community, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, in Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Jim was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Don Gaylon Richardson and Sally Hays Richardson of Lewisburg. He was a former president of the Marshall County Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Association and he served as a Marshall County Commissioner from 1999 to 2002. He was engaged in farming with the Hays-Richardson family farm. He was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his former wife and partner, Brenda Richardson of the Anes Station Community; two sons, Samuel Hays Richardson of the Anes Station Community and Gaylon James Richardson of Mt. Pleasant; stepdaughter, Lauren Norman of Murfreesboro; sister, Kimberly Richardson Thomason of Lewisburg; and one niece, Katie Hargrove of Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Friendship Cemetery at Culleoka.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
